Discussion theme: No matter what size your business, your employees can experience depression or anxiety-related disorders. In fact, over 20 percent of all Canadians will experience a mental health issue in their lifetime and many more employees will go through a time of stress or burnout when their coping strategies are stretched to the limit. Mental Health Works can help you address these issues early and effectively — before poor performance impacts your bottom line, before conflict damages morale, and before you feel the stress in your personal life. Mental Health Works is offering a free, customized version of their workshop, Issues and Solutions: Managing Mental Health in the Workplace, to small and medium-sized business owners across Canada. This two-hour presentation will provide practical strategies to help you identify and address mental health issues, plus resources for effective performance management.
